Mark Wilson (born June 5, 1984 in Glasgow, Scotland) is a Scottish footballer. He currently plays in defence for Scottish Premier League club Celtic. He has represented Scotland at under-21 and all youth international levels and was until recently the Under-21s captain.
He started his career with Dundee United who he joined as a youth player, turning professional in 2000 and making his senior debut in January 2002.
Considered one of the most promising young players in Scotland, Wilson was frequently linked with moves to the Old Firm and English Premiership clubs. On 16 January 2006, he joined his boyhood heroes Celtic for a reported fee of £500,000, signing a four-and-a-half year contract.
On 13 September Wilson broke his foot in a Champions League match against Manchester United.
