Jérémy Clément

Jérémy Clément (born August 26, 1984) is a French and Arpitan professional footballer currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Rangers. He is primarily a left-footed defensive midfielder with an eye for a pass.

Despite his birthplace in Béziers, Hérault, Languedoc-Roussillon (in Occitania, southern France), Jérémy Clément and his family come from Rives, Isère where his parents still live.

Clément, who was formed by and started his career at Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyonnais, joined Rangers on 7 July 2006 on a three-year contract after a £1.1m deal was agreed between the two clubs.

Clément now links up with his former Lyon manager Paul Le Guen.
