Hi there sorry I made a mistake it should have been Clyde against Rangers in the Scottish Cup final 1949
My great-grandfather played for the Kilwinning Buffs, who won the Junior Scottish Cup in 1909. I would like any information/websites pertainig to the location of the trophy.
Greetings from New Zealand
I have a family ‘treasure’ I’m anxious to know more about.
It is a cup final medal (made of metal with an pin on the back)dated 1911.
The medal belonged to my grandfather William Grant, who was born and I presumed played in the Inverness area.
Any information on him (I was led to believe he was a player of reasonable note) – and background about the medal – will be very welcome.
Hope you can help
Regards
Rod Grant
